"Ignoring Arthritis Is Unacceptable"
Arthritis Awareness Day 2012

Do your legislators understand the true costs of arthritis on our state and the lives of Washingtonians?
At the morning briefing, you will join others living with arthritis to learn about the staggering impact arthritis has on our state and how we can help our lawmakers understand the impact of their policy decisions. We will discuss access to medical care and treatments, public health interventions and more.
During the afternoon, you will have an opportunity to schedule meetings with your legislators and let them know that "Ignoring arthritis is unacceptable" and ask for their help.
Who should attend?
You! If you live in Washington and are affected by any of the more than 100 forms of arthritis, please join us for this important day.
Because arthritis affects the whole family, we encourage significant others, children and teens to join us. People of all ages will find this to be an educational and meaningful day, and we want you to join us!
All attendees are encouraged to participate in the issue briefing and scheduled meetings.
Separate youth activities are not provided.
